Mrs. Kohmetscher was nominated by a former student to attend the Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction Teachers' Workshop in Omaha for a few days earlier this summer. There were 33 teachers from all over the country in attendance at this workshop. While there, Mrs. Kohmetscher learned about the Engineering and Construction Programs offered by UNL and UNO so as to better educate her future students who are interested in pursuing Engineering and Construction. She was also able to visit a large engineering firm in Omaha as well as a construction site at Omaha Westside High School.
