🎉 Exciting News for Blue Hill Community Schools! 🎉

6B working together to locate main ideas and details.

The National Honor Society will be having its Annual Food Drive next week. Please see the details below.
When: The Food Drive will run from December 9th-13th.
Where do you take items? The NHS students will collect items outside the Elementary and HS offices each day.
Goal: 1,400 food items. This year, $.50 will equal one food item if one chooses to donate money instead of food. Please see Mr. Moore if you plan to donate money instead of food.
Possible Change of Dismissal Day:
If we meet our goal, we WILL NOT have school on January 3rd with students. January 3rd will be a teacher in-service and students will start on January 6th.

Blue Hill senior Aidyn Bonifas, daughter of Troy and Melissa Bonifas was awarded the Currency Believers and Achievers award at the C-1 football championship. Believers & Achievers was designed to reward high school students in Nebraska for their excellence in academics and participation in NSAA activities. Those students who show a commitment to citizenship, school involvement and community projects are honored in the Believers & Achievers program. Congratulations Aidyn!

Reminder: Tomorrow junior high and senior high students will have their activity and sports photos taken. Picture packets are located outside the high school office. Please remind your student to bring jerseys and uniforms for the activities they are in.

BALT members attended NSAA Sportsmanship & Leadership Summit. The athletes had the opportunity to learn from Rob Miller, Kevin Kush and Diane Shuck. Key take-aways include:
"Adversity...what an opportunity!"
"Culture has to be intentional."
How to be a great TEAMMATE.
