There will not be Run/Walk Club tomorrow morning. Bringing the 2024-2025 season to an end.

The Inaugural elementary track meet was a success. Thank you to all of the teachers for your help, Mrs. Toepfer for being the MC all day, parents for supporting all athletes, Beef Boosters for our lunch, Dollar General for the popsicles and South Central Bank for the bottled water. Day couldn't have happened without all of you.
There was not enough time to complete the awards ceremony at the end of the meet so what was missed will be completed at Promotion on Tuesday.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day! Come spectate and enjoy it with us!

4th graders had a blast at the Edgerton Explorit Center today! They dissected owl pellets, learned about raptors, and explored all things science. We stopped at Crystal Lake to search for tadpoles, spotted a giant snapping turtle—then wrapped up the day with water balloon relays!

Parents:
We want to alert you to a current trend -called Chromebook TikTok Challenge.
There is a disturbing new trend spreading on TikTok where students are inserting pencil lead or paperclips into Chromebook USB ports and charging ports to intentionally short circuit and destroy school issued devices. In several instances Chromebooks have caught fire or released toxic smoke, creating a serious fire hazard and potential health risk.
Even more alarming, this behavior is escalating. It has been reported that some students have targeted wall outlets and other electronics, putting themselves, classmates, and school staff in danger. I've even had a report today that some of our students have started to try these things.
This is NOT a harmless prank. Parents, please communicate with your child the dangers of this type of prank. Also, if students attempt this TikTok challenge and damage their Chromebook they will be charged full price for the Chromebook.
