Dear Parents:

Our after-school study program, Bobcat Power Hour, will begin Monday, October 4, 2021. This program is offered to all 2nd-6th grade students from 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. on Monday-Thursdays.  We will not have Bobcat Power Hour on early dismissal days.

Bobcat Power Hour is a program designed to provide a place for your child to get a start on, and help with, their daily homework assignments.  Students who have their homework completed will be able to work on Study Island or Lexia.  Study Island and Lexia help students master Nebraska academic standards in a fun and engaging manner.  It provides standards-based instruction, practice, assessment, and productivity tools that improve the academic performance of students.

We believe that this is an excellent opportunity for your child to get some homework completed before leaving school as well as to receive support or clarification with any aspect of homework in which he/she may be having difficulty.   It also provides an opportunity to enrich your child’s education.

Elementary teachers will be running the “Bobcat Power Hour” and are knowledgeable about the content being taught in the classes as well as the teacher’s expectations of particular homework and assignments.
