Prom Update

The 2007 prom is going to be one to remember. The theme this year is James Bond 007. The prom glasses and shirts have came in. The shirts are red and black, and you can pick them up after the dance in the commons area. There is also a picture sign up sheet by the office that you can sign up your preffered picture time. The prom banquet starts at 6:30 p.m., the prominade is at 8:15 p.m., and the dance is from 9:00 p.m.-12:00p.m.
There is a post prom committee that is putting on a very exciting post prom event featuring Gayle Becwar who is a very entertaining comedian. After that there will be more fun and games.

Juniors Prom

The junior class has raised over $5000 for their prom in 2007 and their graduation in 2008 by workings concessions at the home football games and selling food from Deli International. The juniors would like to thank all of you for helping by eating at the football games and buying food from Deli International.

Unfortunately, the junior class hasn't had the time to hold class meetings and vote on the theme and colors for prom because of the football team making it so far in the playoffs.

Better than Remember the Titans.

Better than Remember the Titans.

By Cameron Trumble.

Its football season and that means that it is also time for football movies to make their debut at the box office. The hit movie this year is Gridiron Gang with the Rock as the main star in the movie. In the movie Sean Porter (The Rock) plays a probation officer at a camp for juveniles in a bigger city. When the kids eventually get released form the camp they usually end up right back in their gangs or dead. Sean wants to change this so he decides to make a football team for some of the inmates. He hopes that this will give them a sense of teamwork, disciple, and some ambition. It is a solid movie that really shows how the work of one person and football can change someone's life. This movie is not for people who do not like violence. Seeing how the violence even reaches the kids while they are playing football. This movie has been in the top three of the box office for the last two weeks with a total gross of 27 million dollars. My rating for this movie is a 9 out of 10.

Movie Review: RV Hilariously Bad.

RV Hilariously Bad.

From the start of this movie I could tell that this was going to be another dumb comedy. The movie is about a family that goes on a RV trip to . The father (Robin Williams) told the family was a vacation, but really the trip was a business trip. He spends the whole movie trying to hide this from the family. The story had a plot just like any other situation comedy the I have ever seen.

One thing that I thought might improve this movie was the fact that Robin Williams starred in this film, but all of the comedy involving Robin Williams was so clichéd that there was no funny left in it. On the Trumble scale of movie ratings I give this movie a 2 out of 10.
